Tax season always brings me to a different place in our daily life. The organizing chaos of getting it all ready for our accountant, makes me want to organize EVERYTHING in our home. I wonder why I didn't do it before, why do I let the paperwork go, why am I so unorganized while trying to be organized. I am grumpy.

All I can do is look forward to it being all done and we are better off for it. Our files look better, our finances organized and I am tightening my belt again (in regards to spending...not my actual belt). All I can hope and plan for is that I do better next year keeping paperwork in places it needs to be. Every year gets better than the last. Thank goodness for my patient husband who overlooks my ridiculous filing habits...

Here are some fun pictures I have taken recently. That will brighten up this blogpost!

Alex is trying to bother his sister and cousin...heehee.

It is dance competition season where Grace participates in three different dances at three different dance competitions. This was from the first one where the girls are dressed for their tap dance.

Enjoying warm days at the playground.

Grace loves having braids these days.

Counting just some of her candy from the Easter Bunny.

Bicycles That Measure Growth

Spring has sprung and the bikes are out!  The first thing that comes out when the driveway shows signs of melting snow: Bicycles!

What I notice right away, once they start riding, is how much our kids have grown. Kids grow out of their clothes but in my experience that is more gradual. They put their bikes away in late fall and they come back out in March and all of a sudden the bike has either shrunken or the child has grown a foot!

Grace looks like a giant on her shrunken bike. Off to the bike store soon...

This is the parking lot for bikes at our bus stop... the end of our lane way. Once they get off the bus, the drive back to the house is quick!
